Why I Deserve a Prize

I went to Walgreen's for contact solution. I came out of Walgreen's with contact solution.

AND NOTHING MORE.*

Also, the rest of the Paris pics are up.

*That may not sound like a big deal, but trust me, it is. I spend half my paycheck at Walgreen's. I go in for a $8 bottle of contact solution and come out with $40 worth of magazines, the latest lotion that promises to make some body part firmer and tighter, a 3-in-1 spatula/spoon/tongs utensil, an "As Seen on TV" ab exerciser, a Venus Flytrap (not kidding, they were selling them the other day), beef jerky, lip gloss, and anything else I might find mildly scintillating.

Amazing restraint!

You walked by a grip-n-flip and didn't buy it? That is some amazing restraint.

I do the same thing at Wal-mart! LOL. :)

I'm a dude so I can't relate to this horrible shopping addiction that all women seem to have. Us guys only buy what we come in for, and we only buy it when we absolutely have to.

We do a thrice-weekly trip to CVS up the street from us. I, too, spend an inordinate amount of money at that place. I can definitely empathize with you.

I hate that place. I bought a poker table top, a shoulder massager...I almost never leave there with only what I was looking for. I don't get it! Why is Walgreen's merchandise so seductive?

I'm very proud of you. The dirty bastards put one RIGHT NEXT DOOR to my office and it's killin' me!

Have you noticed how blogs have almost an incestuous circle of participants--there are lot of people I recognize here from my own blog and a couple others I frequent (hey, jevanking and LOB).

But what I wanted to ACTUALLY say is--I love WalMart and Target.

That is all.

I'm the same way with Target, I cannot go into that store and spend less than $50, under any circumstances. Awesome!

Nice to know that I am not the only Walgreen's-aholic, I adore that place! I am impressed that you showed such resolve!

Target is the death of me. Piece of advice- when they ask you if you want a Target Guest Card- JUST SAY NO!
